Jason Kelce revealed his brother, Travis, was forced to move out of his house for “safety reasons” amid his budding romance with Taylor Swift.
The Philadelphia Eagles star got candid about the “drawbacks” of his family becoming a pop culture phenomenon during an appearance on “The Big Podcast With Shaq” Monday.
“Travis knows way more than I do, he had to completely move out of his house,” he said.
“People were just staying by his house.”
“And the first day he moved into the new house … [in] a gated community, somebody knocks on the back window of the house.”
Despite being a big shot in the NFL world, Jason, 36, admitted he didn’t know what fame was before his brother started dating the “Lover” songstress last year.
“We’ve always been big in the football world, Travis especially. The Taylor world and the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. It’s a new demographic that wasn’t there before,” he continued.
Page Six confirmed in October 2023 that Travis, 34, had snatched up a $6 million mansion in Kansas City, Mo., one month after taking his relationship with Swift, 34, public.
At the time, we reported the Kansas City Chiefs star sought more privacy in the luxury home tucked away in a gated community.
According to TMZ, the tight end began his search for a new home after realizing how accessible he was in his previous high-end Briarcliff West neighborhood house, which he initially purchased in 2019 for $995,000.
Travis makes about $14 million per year on the Chiefs but that doesn’t include paid partnerships.
The three-time Super Bowl champ previously spoke out about his newfound pop culture fame during an episode of his and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast in October, admitting his “personal life” is no longer “so personal.”
Swift and Travis fueled romance rumors in September 2023 when the 14-time Grammy winner attended her beau’s game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Moreover, recently, the “Bad Blood” hitmaker boldly showed her love for Travis as she rushed onto the football field to give him a giant kiss following the Chiefs’ win against the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl.
The couple has plans to take their relationship to the next level as an insider previously told Page Six the duo will get engaged this summer.
