When Superman pretends to be Aquaman.
Henry Cavill celebrates ‘Aquaman’ box office success with a hilarious Instagram post
With DC’s Aquaman overtaking Wonder Woman by earning over US$822 million and becoming the second-highest DC Extended Universe global box office, right behind 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, someone has to congratulate Jason Momoa.
And the man to do it is none other than the man who plays Superman himself, Henry Cavill.
The 35-year-old who plays the Man of Steel recently posted a hilarious image of himself on Instagram, pretending to be The King of the Seven Seas.
Holding a fork, pretending it’s Aquaman’s trident, Henry who is submerged in a bathtub congratulates Jason Momoa and the team behind DC’s latest flick on their box office success.
And surprise, surprise! Jason replied in the comment section by saying, “Thank god u were already casted for Superman. I’d be out of a job love u brother. Mahalo for the support.”
On Rotten Tomatoes, James Wan’s first non-horror directorial endeavour is rated better with other DC films, surpassing even Henry’s Man of Steel and Justice League.
Job well done, Jason and team!
