She added, “Our thoughts and sincere condolences continue to go out to Liam’s family and friends.” A source close to the situation told The Sun about the enduring impact of Liam’s death.
“Everyone is still coming to terms with the tragic loss of Liam, but there is some comfort in knowing the legacy he leaves behind,” they said. The insider also commended the incredible generosity witnessed at his funeral, “Everyone dug deep at the service and the amount raised is staggering – it will help change lives.”
The source revealed that Liam’s love for music was matched by his dedication to philanthropy, a trait inspired by his son, Bear. It’s also emerged that even in his final moments, Liam’s generosity shone through as he made substantial donations to aid individuals with their healthcare costs.

Among those beneficiaries was 28-year-old Jack, who is fighting Stage 4 B Cell Lymphoma. Liam’s unexpected $3,000 contribution to Jack’s GoFundMe left him astonished.
Jack shared with The Mirror, “I thought it was a prank or someone donating under a false name in the interest of preserving their own anonymity, until reports started coming out about Liam’s acts of kindness during his final days.”
He added, “Once we started seeing other reputable sources saying Liam had donated to my GoFundMe, it became sort of surreal. I’m so thankful and I feel extremely lucky.”
Liam’s funeral saw celebrities gather, including his ex Cheryl, Simon Cowell and his former One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik. The service prompted donations in lieu of flowers, with the order of service card reading, “Thank you for attending the service and thank you for all the kind messages received. Liam would like you to make a donation. In memory of Liam, we’d like you to consider Great Ormond Street Hospital.”
