Hailey Bieber doesn’t seem to be over her hubby, Justin Bieber’s former relationship with Selena Gomez

HAILEY Bieber has seemed to take a shot at her husband, Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, on social media.

Hailey appeared to take one specific song from Beyonce’s new album Cowboy Carter to heart.

Beyonce captivated fans on Friday with the release of her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter.

Some of the Grammy-winning singer’s fans, who also happen to be celebrities, even seemed to connect with some of her song lyrics.

Hailey, 27, took to her Instagram Stories shortly after the album was released to spotlight one of the more sassier songs on Queen Bey’s record.

Shared in the model’s Stories timeline was a screenshot of the Cowboy Carter song she had playing on her Spotify account, Jolene.

For Beyonce’s new album, she did a rendition of Dolly Parton’s, 78, hit song Jolene.

The original Jolene song is essentially about a woman pleading to another woman not to steal her man, who’s the love of her life, away from her just “because she can.”

Beyonce kept that same sentiment in her own revival of Jolene, with a few lyrical tweaks.

Instead of begging the proverbial Jolene not to “take her man,” the songstress warned the hussy to back off because her man is hers, and Jolene couldn’t compete with her.

“Whew [angry face emoji],” she captioned in the screenshot.

Hailey’s post came off as a dig at Justin’s, 30, ex Selena, 31, who was seriously involved with him prior to their breakup and his later relationship with the Rhode Skin founder.

‘KARMA WILL BITE…’

“Hailey bieber’s obsession with selena gomez needs to be studied…,” one user wrote online.

“This woman is so obsessed,” another agreed. “She is this way just because doesnt [sic] have confidence with herself The karma for hailey will bite harder.”

“It’s not even just Selena at this point,” a third netizen posted. “She think [sic] everybody wants her man.”

Ironically, when Selena and Justin dated on-and-off between 2010 and 2018, Hailey was rumored to be the Jolene she’s seemingly insinuating Selena is.

In the past, fans were outraged and claimed that she stole Justin from Selena.

However, during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast in September 2022, she cleared up the assumption.

“I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody — that’s the end of it,” Hailey said on the show.

SEEMINGLY SQUASHED

Selena and Hailey seemed to have put the past behind them when they agreed to pose for photos together at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ 2nd annual gala in October 2022.

Many fans began to believe that they buried the supposed hatchet between them.

That was until February of last year.

On February 22, 2023, Hailey and Kylie Jenner were accused of trolling Selena and making fun of her eyebrows after Selena posted a TikTok video of herself with overly laminated brows.

Although Kylie and Selena both came out and said there was no drama between them, Hailey kept quiet.

A few hours later, Selena commented on another TikTok video that discussed how she had been handling the “mean girls.”
