The Lincoln Lawyer season four is going to see Mickey Haller go up against a new adversary as a House of Cards star has been cast in the Netflix legal drama.

The Lincoln Lawyer season four is set to introduce a formidable “relentless prosecutor” which might mean trouble for Mickey Haller.

Netflix fans rejoiced in January when it was confirmed that the series would return for a fourth installment, just three months after the third season’s release.

Filming is expected to kick off in Los Angeles soon and a new addition to the cast has just been announced, potentially posing as a “ruthless adversary” to Mickey Haller, portrayed by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.

The renowned Constance Zimmer, known for her role as Janine Skorsky in Netflix’s ‘House of Cards,’ is set to take on a significant role in the new episodes.

Zimmer’s impressive roster includes Dana Gordon on HBO’s ‘Entourage’, Claire Simms in ABC’s ‘Boston Legal’, Alicia Corrigan in ‘Big Sky’, and Shira Bolitair in Netflix’s ‘Harlan Coben’s Shelter’.

In the upcoming Season 4 of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer,’ she will portray Dana Berg, a character from Michael Connelly’s sixth book ‘The Law of Innocence’ on which the new season is based.

The previous season ended with a cliffhanger, as Mickey was arrested after the body of a client was discovered in his trunk, setting up an intense legal battle as he defends himself against murder charges in the forthcoming season.

In the upcoming legal drama, Dana Berg (played by Zimmer) will serve as the prosecutor in a case against Mickey, who has connections to his first ex-wife Maggie (portrayed by Neve Campbell).

According to Deadline: “A colleague of Maggie’s from her days in the LA DA’s office, Dana is a relentless prosecutor who will let nothing stand in the way of a guilty verdict, a single-mindedness which has earned her the nickname ‘Death Row Dana.’

“A fierce and ruthless adversary who bends the rules to her advantage, she is the last person Mickey wants to find himself going up against in what will be the trial of his life.”

The show’s main cast, including Garcia-Rulfo, Zimmer, and Campbell, is expected to return, with Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, and Angus Sampson as Cisco also reprising their roles.

While an official release date for the drama has not been announced, it is anticipated to make a comeback in late fall 2025.
