Taylor’s team have filed several new trademarks indicating she might be turning her hand to something new.
TAYLOR Swift may have a surprising new career shift on the horizon after her wild Super Bowl celebrations.
Last month, the pop songstress revealed on stage at the Grammys – after picking up a record-breaking fourth Best Album gong – that she already had a new album lined up entitled The Tortured Poets Department.

Now we can reveal that the 34-year-old may also planning on a move away from music – to pen her first book.
It comes after Taylor’s team, TAS Rights Management, trademarked a number of phrases and words.
One was called “A Girl Named Girl”, which is the title of a little known novel the superstar penned when she was just 14 years old.
Not much is known about it apart from what snippets she’s said previously in interviews with the manuscript said to be safely in the hands of her parents Andrea and Scott.
From what Taylor has previously spoken about, it’s regarding a mother, who gives birth to a daughter after wanting a son.
It was penned during a regular summer vacation in the resort of Stone Harbor, New Jersey, where she was stuck in her “den” as she was scared to go out after a shark was found marooned on the dock of their waterfront house.
She told Vogue in 2012: “We lived on this basin where all this magical stuff would happen. One time a dolphin swam into our basin.

“And then one summer, there was a shark that washed up on our dock. I ended up writing a novel that summer because I wouldn’t go in the water.
“I locked myself in the den and wrote a book. When I was fourteen. Because of a shark!”
The book is said to be between 350 and 400 pages, but Taylor delayed the chance to become a novelist when she “discovered music”.
She gave a talk to a group of kids for Scholastic on the importance of reading and writing in October 2014, saying after she wrote the novel, her plans changed.
“What if I end up writing a script or a book, or a book of poetry or something? That would be so amazing. I would love to see that happen.”
The trademark application for “A Girl Named Girl” to the US Patent and Trademark Office is the third time Taylor’s team have filed since 2015.

Others have either been abandoned or delayed, so questions are now raised whether Taylor is serious about releasing her novel or about writing more material.
At the start of this month, she also applied to trademark the phrase “The Tortured Poets Department” and “TTPD”, under the classifications of merchandise such as clothes and jewelry.
She’s also applied for her initials “TS” under live performances.
It comes after an epic Super Bowl weekend for Taylor and her NFL boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The power couple delighted fans after sharing a kiss on the field in emotional scenes after the win against the San Francisco 49ers.
The pair partied long into the night with friends and family following the Kansas City Chiefs dramatic overtime win.
