Fear the Walking Dead actress Bailey Gavulic recently shared an exciting addition to her acting credits on social media. She appeared in the season 3 finale of the HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls. The finale episode, “Essex Strong,” closed out the 10-part season on Jan. 23.
The teen dramedy was created by Tony Award-winning Mindy Kaling, known for The Office, The Mindy Project, and Justin Noble. The Sex Lives of College Girls premiered in 2021, and the series has an overall 74% rank on Rotten Tomatoes, with the first two seasons ranking considerably higher, but by the third, the rank appears to have tanked. Kaling and Noble also serve as showrunners for the series
Pauline Chalamet, Amrit Kaur, Reneé Rapp, and Alyah Chanelle Scott lead the series that takes place on the fictional campus of Essex College in Vermont. The story chronicles the active sex lives of the girls while they maneuver the hardships and struggles of adulthood and college.
While the season 3 finale concluded with the main characters relaxing in a dorm all cozy and happy, co-showrunner Noble insists this wasn’t to insinuate that the episode served as the finale for the series. He told The Hollywood Reporter: “No one told us to, like, wrap up the show or anything like that.” This is excellent news for show fans who long to see more.
Below, Gavulic shares her excitement about wearing the uniform of Essex College in her co-starring role in the seasonn 3 finale. She portrayed a college student named Erica.
