MILEY Cyrus has chosen to take her mom Tish’s side over her sister Noah and did everything she could to ban her sibling from attending the family matriarch’s wedding.

The Cyrus family has entered disrepair after the news broke that the Hannah Montana star’s mother has married her daughter Noah’s ex-boyfriend.

But Miley, 31, decided to stick by her mom Tish’s side despite the shocking situation regarding her new husband Dominic Purcell, 54.

An inside source has revealed to Us Weekly that the pop star was “fully aware” of her sister Noah’s relationship with the Prison Break star before her mom stepped in.

The Flowers singer “absolutely knew” that her 24-year-old sibling was dating the 54-year-old actor when family matriarch Tish began pursuing him, the source added.

A second source confirmed to the outlet that Noah “was not Dominic’s ex” when his relationship with her mother began in 2022.

“They were seeing each other when he started dating Tish,” the insider explained.

Despite knowing the truth of the situation, the first source asserted that Miley decided to “take her mom’s side” and did “everything in her power” to keep her sibling from crashing Tish and Purcell’s wedding which took place this past August.

A different insider claimed that the Wrecking Ball singer “tried” to stay out of the family drama, but that her bond with her mother won out.

“Miley believes [the family rift is] beyond repair at this time,” they revealed.

“Miley’s devastated her family’s been torn apart.”

The insider continued to say that Noah “refuses to communicate” with her sister, and Tish is “not open to any reconciliation” with her youngest child.

FAMILY DRAMA

Speculation of a rift in the Cyrus family began over the summer when both Noah and her brother Braison were missing from Tish’s Malibu wedding to Dominic.

The drama between the youngest Cyrus child and her mother began when a source previously told Us Weekly, “Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him.”

The insider also revealed that Tish was aware of the situation before deciding to pursue him.

“The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think],” said the source.

“Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her.”

CHOOSING SIDES

It’s also been revealed that Noah seemed to side with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, during the divorce proceedings.

Tish and Billy Ray called it quits in April 2022.

The star was pictured outside of Walmart wearing a Billy Ray t-shirt during the process.

However, the source said that Noah was not invited to her mother’s wedding.

They continued to say sister Miley even paid armed guards to stand outside the venue in case Noah tried to attend.

Miley did not respond to the source following the comments.

Tish shares Miley, Braison, 29, and Noah with her ex-husband Billy Ray Cyrus.

She is also mom to Brandi, 36, and Trace, 35, from a previous marriage.

TISH’S CONFESSION

In the February 7, 2024, podcast episode of Call Her Daddy, Tish revealed that she had a longtime crush on Dominic before they officially began dating.

The TV star told Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper that when she would watch Prison Break with her daughters Miley and Brandi, she was always on “Team Lincoln,” a nod to Purcell’s character, Lincoln Burrows, on the 2000s show.

She had even jokingly referred to Dominic as her “hall pass” throughout her nearly 30-year marriage to Billy Ray.
