Liam Payne’s fans are on Kate Cassidy’s side and won’t let the haters attack her. They came to the rescue after someone online accused her of not grieving correctly.
Kate Cassidy spent time with friends recently with a photo of her enjoying a cocktail was shared around the internet. In the picture, she was sipping on her drink as her friends were seen with smiles. Kate wore her hair pulled away from her radiating face as she donned a gray sweater.
However, one hater decided to attack the social media star. They wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “I’ll make 100 posts if I want to, does this look like grieving? Y’all deada** defend this person here while she doesn’t give a f about anything but her own a**. She didn’t even care about Liam when he was still alive why would she now? Snake of the century!”
They pushed more blame onto Kate, too, as she alleged that Kate “knew Roger wasn’t the best influence on him,” referring to Roger Norris who was charged with negligent homicide in relation to Liam’s death. He denies the allegations against him, pleading not guilty.

Liam died after a fall from an Argentinian hotel balcony. An investigation into the matter unveiled that drugs were in the One Direction star’s system at the time. Five people were charged, including the hotel manager. Kate was vacationing with Liam just prior to his death, but returned home just days before.
The critic wrote: “This is the person she left liam in argentina with…when liam was already in a very vulnerable state with the online bullying, the allegations, his music constantly being pushed back/struggles with the label, ect…she knew he suffered past traumas and also didnt like being in hotel rooms alone..and yet she still left.”
They further called for the Argentinian police to question her as they scolded her for drinking around the star who was known to have substance abuse issues. “Then she wants to put a huge narrative that she is so sad and grieving and heartbroken,” wrote they wrote.
Liam’s fans, though, were not letting the hater get away that easily. One wrote: “You guys are demonising this woman over absolutely nothing. Do you want us to go back to medieval times where you had to wear black for 5 years and not leave your house for several years either? Or can y’all understand that moving on and living life is a normal part of mourning?”
“Its been 3 months had she posted a video crying yall would have called her an attention seeker,” argued another as a fourth said: “and if she was ‘actually grieving’ as per your standards you would call it fake and performative so which one is it?”
Many attempted to educate the fangirl, explaining the complexities of grief. One wrote online: “Grief looks different on everyone. It comes in waves. Some days are easier than others. Faking a smile and laughter becomes easy. I’m thankful for my friends who will have nights like this during the hardest of it. I pray some of y’all never go through a loss so deep.”
Another said: “you people are so insufferable. at my grandpas celebration of life everyone was drinking and having a good time. people go through stages of grief differently. do you want her to be miserable for the rest of her life? you sound so f**king stupid. also leave her alone wtf.
