Amazon takes a different route with its streaming releases, often putting out a batch of episodes at once before releasing one weekly for the remainder of the series. This has been the case for the Lord of the Rings spinoff series, with a three-episode premiere aimed to get audiences hooked for the remainder of the season. The Prime Video series could turn things around with an extended Rings of Power season 2 finale.
