Prince Harry lost himself after the death of Princess Diana, says former Royal staff
Prince Harry was shattered upon the death of beloved mother, Princess Diana.
The Duke of Sussex, who lost his mother in a 1997 car accident, cried inconsolably over the demise of the former Princess of Wales.
Speaking about Harry’s condition, former butler of Princess Diana, Paul Burrell, spoke on ‘What If?’ podcast: “I want him to be happy because I know that his heart broke, because on that day when he came back to Kensington Palace and ran down that corridor, he flung himself into my arms and wrapped his arms tight around me and cried so much my shirt went transparent.”
“We all knew that our hearts were broken because we’d lost her.”
Burrell recounted: “Harry’s heart broke in bits and William’s did, but he was able to be stoic, he was able to stand upright, he was able not to show his emotion, because he was older.
“But poor Harry, he was in bits,” he noted.
