Kelly Rowland appeared to scold a security guard at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
Initially, the former Destiny’s Child member was photographed smiling and waving while making her way down the red carpet ahead of the “Marcello Mio” premiere, striking pose after pose for the eager shutterbugs.
Rowland, 43, dazzled in a flowy red dress that gathered in different places around the skirt and had a sweetheart neckline that perfectly complemented her statement diamond necklace.

The singer accessorized with matching drop earrings, a stacked bracelet, a few rings, a bedazzled clutch and silver pumps. She completed her luxe look by sporting a sleek, platinum-blond bob and flawless makeup.
As Rowland made her way up a set of stairs, a female security guard working the event held her arm up behind the star, seemingly guiding her away from the crowd and into the venue.
The woman, who was dressed in a black pantsuit, appeared to say something as well — either to Rowland or the male security guard standing to the songstress’ right.

Whatever transpired did not sit well with Rowland, who immediately turned to face the female staffer.
The Grammy winner scowled as she held up her left pointer finger and appeared to admonish the woman in front of everyone.
The woman seemed frazzled as she spoke back.

It is unclear what caused the scene, and reps for Rowland did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The incident comes three months after we exclusively reported that the “Say My Name” singer had walked off the “Today” show set because her dressing room was “not up to par,” leaving Hoda Kotb scrambling to find a replacement co-host.
Rowland later insisted she “loves” Kotb, who told Page Six in March that the NBC morning show planned to upgrade its “closet”-size dressing rooms.
