The Voice” season 27 premieres February 3, 2025 and there’s one big change fans should be aware of. Along with the show’s new lineup of coaches, “The Voice” will also have a scheduling change.
‘The Voice’ Season 27 Has a Different Schedule Than Past Seasons
“The Voice” fans have been used to the Monday and Tuesday night shows over the years, but for season 27, that all changes.
Typically, “The Voice” is on twice a week, but for season 27, the show will air only on Mondays for a portion of the season.
The Monday, February 3 premiere episode of “The Voice” kicks off with the Blind Auditions and the coaching lineup of Adam Levine, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, and John Legend.
According to NBC Insider, “The Voice” season 27 will have five rounds of Blind Auditions before the Artists move on to the Battles.
The show will only air on Mondays from the Blind Auditions through the Playoffs. Then the Live Shows will have “some new episodes air on Tuesdays,” NBC Insider reports.
Adam Levine on His Return as a Coach: ‘I Was Really Ready’
Fans are thrilled to see Adam Levine is back on “The Voice,” after serving as a coach from seasons 1 through 16. He ended his run in 2019, but finally made his return to the red chair again.
In a January 2025 interview with E! Online, Levine shared why he made the decision to come back to the show for season 27. “I just felt like it was time,” he said. “I had some time to reflect and do my thing and be with my family.”
Everything fell into place, as he noted, “I was ready to do it, then the stars aligned and here I am.”
Levine dished on how his return has been “nostalgic.” He explained, “It’s funny, I actually didn’t miss it while I was gone. But I became more nostalgic about it once I came back.”
The Maroon 5 frontman easily took to his coaching gig again, with no glitches. “It feels like no time has passed, but then it also feels so different in an amazing way,” Levine said.
In a February 2025 interview with NBC Insider, Levine gave more insight into coming back to “The Voice.”
He explained, “The only way to sum it up is that just energetically … the opportunity came at the right moment and I was really ready, and we started talking about it and one thing led to another and here I am.”
“It was that simple,” Levine added. “It didn’t involve too much deliberation or overthinking. I kind of just felt ready. I was really happy to come back and experience it again with these three wonderful people.”
