Read on to know what Anne Charrier thinks of her character Marion Genet and what makes her a powerful leader. For the unversed, Marion is the leader of the Pouvoir des Vivants (Power of the Living), a paramilitary group of survivors in France.
Anne Charrier on what make her character powerful
When for her ability to sell evil in a very creepy manner, Anne Anne Charrier was asked why her character, Marion Genet, influences people and has them obeying everything she says. Answering this, Anne replied, “I’ve asked myself the same question and I think it’s her self confidence.”
She continued, “Knowing that she can make things better (gives her confidence). She really believes she has a view, and she has a sight for everyone. So I’d say that self-confidence (is what makes people follow her).“
The actress further added, “So it’s kind of a charisma Nora has that makes people follow her. If a leader really believe in themselves, that they can do better at one stage, people who are desperate, will follow the lead. And, you know, whoever is the leader. Whoever is telling them with enough conviction, that they’re gonna make things better for them, they’re following him.”
