And Just Like That… Season 3 release date prediction

On May 1, 2024, Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed that And Just Like That… Season 3 had officially gone into production. While no specific dates have been announced yet, Variety previously reported that the series is targeting a 2025 premiere.

And Just Like That… Season 3 cast

In January 2025, Entertainment Weekly reported that Patti LuPone will appear in Season 3. Details surrounding her role are being kept secret, but showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed she’ll have “an arc on our show this season.” King also announced that Kristen Schaal will appear in a new role, and Rosemarie DeWitt will return as Aidan’s ex-wife Kathy.

Mehcad Brooks, Jonathan Cake, and Logan Marshall-Green will join Season 3, all in recurring guest roles. Elsewhere in the cast, Sebastiano Pigazzi, who plays Anthony’s boyfriend Giuseppe, and Dolly Wells, who plays Miranda’s colleague Joy, have been elevated to series regulars.

Additionally, Cheri Oteri announced via Instagram that she had joined the cast. Rosie O’Donnell announced, also via Instagram, that she had joined the cast as a character named Mary.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis will return for Season 3. It was confirmed that other main cast members, like Mario Cantone, Sarita Choudhury, Evan Handler, David Eigenberg, Nicole Ari Parker, and John Corbett will be returning as well.

In response to rumors that Samantha Jones would be appearing in Season 3 of And Just Like That… following her brief cameo in the Season 2 finale, Kim Cattrall got online to shut everyone down. “Aw that’s so kind but I’m not,” she wrote on X in response to a fan who claimed she’d be reprising her role.

Also not appearing in Season 3 are Karen Pittman and Sara Ramírez. Variety reported that Ramírez’s character Che Diaz had “reached a natural conclusion” after their breakup with Miranda, while Pittman’s exit is due to scheduling conflicts on Apple TV+’s The Morning Show and Netflix’s Forever.
