After delivering one of their highest-rated MCU shows to date on the platform, production plans have now been revealed for the next season of the popular Disney+ Marvel series, Agatha All Along.

According to a new report from Production Bulletin, Season 2 appears to be confirmed, thanks to newly released production information. This coincides with recent rumors that Season 2 is very close to being greenlit. According to the new report, Agatha All Along, a spinoff of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) WandaVision series, is reportedly set to begin production on Season 2 in the fall of 2025, nearly one year after the premiere of its first season on Disney+. This may surprise many fans, as it comes after months of waiting for an official announcement from Marvel Studios following the final episode of the first season on October 30, 2024.

The report also revealed that production on Season 2 of Agatha All Along is set to take place at Trilith Studios in Fayetteville, Georgia, just south of Atlanta. This expansive facility has hosted the production of numerous MCU projects. Notable Marvel films that have been filmed at Trilith Studios include Avengers: Infinity WarAvengers: EndgameGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and many others. In fact, the first season of Agatha All Along was also filmed at Trilith Studios, utilizing the studio’s facilities to create various supernatural settings, including dark forests, eerie mansions, and the mystical Witches’ Road.

Both Gandja Monteiro and Rachel Goldberg, who previously directed episodes in the first season, are listed as directors for Season 2 of Agatha All Along, according to the report. As expected, Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito remain listed as producers on the project. However, no cast members are currently listed in the report for the new season, which may disappoint fans eager to know which characters will return in the next installment of the popular Marvel series.

Where Will Fans See Agatha Next?

Kathryn Hahn, who plays Agatha, the titular character in Agatha All Along, was previously quoted as saying, “I think everyone would be thrilled to come back, of course, in any capacity. It was a very life-altering, deep experience in Atlanta, Georgia, with just this very small cast on the soundstage, day after day.” Meanwhile, a variant of Agatha’s character is reportedly set to appear in an episode of the upcoming What If…? Season 3 on Disney+. Fans everywhere will surely be thrilled to hear that the story and characters from Agatha All Along will likely be returning to their screens sooner than they expected.
