Agatha All Along Drops Off the Streaming Charts Despite Jaw-Dropping Plot Twist—Here’s Why Fans Are Stunned!

‘Agatha All Along’ is the latest MCU release focusing on a supernatural and magical side of the cinematic universe. The show is a spinoff of ‘WandaVision’ following Agatha Harkness’ attempts to reclaim her magic by walking the Witches Road.

The show is seemingly a true DEI representative in MCU’s lineup, and before the show even premiered fans expected quite a backlash. Despite expecting it, nothing much has happened save for a few recorded attempts to review-bomb the show on IMDb.

This, however, doesn’t mean that the show is popular and that everything is going fine. For two weeks in a row now ‘Agatha All Along’ has been losing viewers. The show had a relatively successful launch with 9.3 million views on Disney+ in its first seven days of streaming.

This is less than ‘The Acolyte’ but at one point Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios exec claimed that the show has the highest continuation rate out of all MCU shows. This means that out of all MCU shows, ‘Agatha All Along’ has the most returning viewers.

The numbers have been steadily dropping since then. Two weeks ago the show saw a 33% loss in “minutest watched.” It has barely managed to maintain its position in the “top 10.”

Last week’s numbers show an even worse situation. ‘Agatha All Along’ is now nowhere to be seen in the top 10 according to Variety’s Luminate data. The exact numbers are unknown, but we can assume that the drop has been severe.

This is surprising considering that last week’s episode revealed that Wiccan aka Teen is connected to Scarlet Witch, possibly foreshadowing her appearance in the show.

‘Love Is Blind ‘leads the streaming charts with 1.3 billion views, followed closely by ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’ and ‘Nobody Wants This,’ both at 1.2 billion views. Meanwhile, shows like ‘Tulsa King’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ maintain strong performances on Paramount+ and Prime Video, respectively, while several Netflix titles experience declines in viewership.

To be honest, I think no one exactly expected a massive viewership for ‘Agatha All Along.’ The show focuses on a C-list character and is extremely niche and specific, it’s capable of attracting a specific type of fan, but the majority just won’t be interested enough.
