Several set photos were leaked from the sets of Spider-Noir, an upcoming series starring Nicolas Cage, and fans are praying that it doesn’t fail!
Nicolas Cage, Nic Cage, Johnny Blaze, Longlegs. The names are many but the actor is one. Starring in a plethora of iconic movies throughout his career, Nicolas Cage is probably one of the most iconic yet controversial stars in Hollywood.
The actor voiced the role of Spider-Man Noir in the 2018 animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This led to a massive movement amongst fans and now, there are alleged set photos of Nic Cage in that iconic Spider-Man suit.

Fans loved it when Nic Cage’s Spider-Man Noir appeared in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. They loved it when Cage portrayed a terrifying role in the 2024 film Longlegs. However, one thing that the actor has a tendency to do is not even his fault.
On the internet, several photos of the Ghost Rider actor were leaked, showing that he had allegedly donned the Spider-Man Noir costume. The series (called Spider-Noir) is an upcoming show starring Cage in the iconic role. The show will also star Brendan Gleeson (from Braveheart fame) alongside Cage.
Well, people took to their social media accounts on X to talk about the alleged leaked photos from the sets of Spider-Noir.

Unfortunately for these fans, it was actually his stunt double who had donned the costume. In another tweet, it was revealed that although Cage is indeed going to portray the role, the set photos were not of the actor.

Nicolas Cage Stars in Successful Projects
Well, there are different opinions of everyone. However, what seems to be a basic and simple fact is that Nicolas Cage stars in successful movies. The movies might not be good every time.
It isn’t about the taste of what people prefer. It is about the films itself. Before his role as Spider-Man Noir in the 2018 animated film, Nic Cage portrayed the role of Ghost Rider in two films back in 2007 and 2011 respectively.
Well, although the films were a commercial success, their ratings weren’t so great after all. The films were not the critics’ first choice as they suffered quite greatly on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the numbers, Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence were commercial successes.
According to IMDB, Ghost Rider, and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengence had a budget of $110 million and $57 million respectively. The films managed to earn a global box office collection of $228 million and $132 million. However, the films received a rating of 27% and 19% on Rotten Tomatoes respectively.
With the upcoming project, Spider-Noir slated to complete production in February 2025, fans want the series to have good ratings as well as a good storyline. A release date for the show hasn’t been announced yet.
