Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes cool their relationship: Are they no longer friends?
Swift was not seen with Mahomes during the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest NFL game

Taylor Swift cheered on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs without a notable member of her entourage on Sunday night as Brittany Mahomes watched the contest elsewhere, leaving fans wondering if their relationship has slowed down.
Swift watched the game with Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, and some other people but without Mahomes, who was spotted in a separate box as she watched her husband, the quarterback, Patrick. In fact, it seems as though they weren’t together at all on December 10 as Swift arrived in Kansas and to the Arrowhead Stadium alone, before leaving with Kelce.
Why might Swift be keeping her distance?
Swift has come under criticism twice on two separate occasions for her association with Jackson Mahomes at Chiefs games, who is accused of committing offences relating to sexual crimes and is the cousin of Patrick Mahomes and cousin-in-law of Brittany Mahomes.

Her fans called her out by pointing out that as a survivor herself and as an advocate for sexual assault survivors, she shouldn’t be hanging around with someone who is accused of similar acts.
Perhaps sensing the hypocrisy of the action and that it’s bad for her image as a celebrity advocate, Swift could be keeping a bit more of a distance from the Mahomes’ clan for now. Meanwhile, Brittany Mahomes is on the record for defending him.
“They are ignorant,” Brittany Mahomes said on Instagram. “He is a human just trying to live his life and find his way.
“Until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s**t about him. So it’s best to just shut up.”
Jackson Mahomes is accused of forcibly kissing a woman named Aspen Vaughn at a local Kansas City bar on February 25 whilst he also apparently shoved other members of staff.
