NBA – After his controversial gesture, Damian Lillard cash: “The scariest thing is…
While the Bucks challenged Indiana this Thursday for a place in the final of the In-Season Tournament, Damian Lillard stood out greatly before the match. And not really in a positive way, either because of his actions or his words.

Perhaps more than for any other player in his franchise, this match had a very special stake for him. The semi-final of the In-Season Tournament between Pacers and Bucks could indeed allow Damian Lillard to remain in the running for the conquest of the first collective trophy of his career. This evening, however, got off to a bad start for him, who dared to provoke destiny with a forbidden act:
Damian Lillard slashed after his overconfidence
Damian Lillard:“…The scariest thing is that we’re [15-6] right now, and we’re trying to figure it all out. And I haven't even gotten started, bro. I promise you."

By being a little too tactile with the cup awarded for winning the In-Season Tournament, Lillard gave the journalists present a cold sweat. Such a gesture is indeed synonymous with bad luck in the common imagination. But what does it matter for Dame, who preferred to have fun and then be more optimistic about the rest of the season for Milwaukee:
Damian Lillard: The scariest thing is that we have a record of (15-6) while we are still trying to find our automatisms. And on top of that, I haven’t even really started my season yet, bro. I swear.
This did not age well

A statement full of confidence which, coupled with his action with the trophy and the defeat of his team which followed, was inevitably poorly received by Internet users:
It has aged badly
Perhaps the victim of too much confidence before his duel against the Pacers, Damian Lillard quickly paid a high price. All that remains is to hope that he and his franchise will eventually find their cruising speed and become champions.
