With the February trade deadline fast approaching, one player that has been linked to the Milwaukee Bucks is Marcus Smart. The former Defensive Player of the Year is now plying his trade with the Memphis Grizzlies after the Boston Celtics traded him this past summer as part of the Kristaps Porzingis blockbuster deal.
Marcus Smart to the Milwaukee Bucks?

As of writing, there appears to be no concrete evidence of the Bucks registering interest in Smart. However, like they always say, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
Smart would be a massive addition for Milwaukee. He would help fill the defensive void Jrue Holiday left when the Bucks shipped him off to Boston. Few defensive guards in the NBA have the same caliber as Smart.
The big question, however, is whether or not the Bucks have enough assets to make this deal work. If the Grizzlies place him on the trade block (which is a big IF), then surely, they would require a massive haul in exchange for the three-time All-Defense guard.

You can’t blame Bucks fans for showing a lot of excitement surrounding this potential trade, though. Smart is a big name with a big reuptation, and for the most part, Milwaukee supporters are more than happy to see him take his talents to Wisconsin:
Trade season is coming so we shall all see soon enough if this rumor has any merit.
