Here are the stars Jayson Tatum would want to join him if he was trying to put together the best pick-up basketball game of all time.
On a recent episode of Crawford’s Couch, Jayson Tatum was asked which three NBA players resemble his playing style. As captured by Bleacher Report, Tatum mentioned Kobe Bryant, Paul George, and Tracy McGrady.
“Paul George. Kobe [Bryant]. I ain’t that athletic but T-Mac.”
After their retirement, Bryant and McGrady were both inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Meanwhile, George is a current player for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Jamal Crawford later asked Tatum which ten players he’d pick when organizing the best pick-up game in the world. In addition to himself, the Boston Celtics forward selected Bryant, Michael Jordan, Stephen Curry, Allen Iverson, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Penny Hardaway, Gilbert Arenas, and Magic Johnson.
Tatum currently ranks seventh on the KIA MVP Ladder. This season, the St. Louis native is averaging 27.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
