Giannis Antetokounmpo Savors Sweet Revenge With “Yum Yum Sauce” After Torching Hawks in Rematch

The Milwaukee Bucks handed the Atlanta Hawks a 121-132 loss tonight. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a splendid night, getting his first triple-double of the season. He had 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, as he was off like a bullet.

His trusty partner, Damian Lillard, added 25 points and nine assists to take the team over the edge. Taking to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate his win, Giannis posted a finger-licking image of his athleticism.

Tonight’s matchup was a beautiful display of how well the top stars of the “Deer State” mesh together. Dame and Giannis were playing off each other, and the result was a much-needed win. The prime example was a deep stretch in the third run.

Quick to grab a defensive rebound, the Greek drives to the basket, fielding an assist from Lillard and dropping a slam dunk. Not wasting any time, Dame-Time took off. A deep three-elbow shot got the Bucks to a lead of 94-91 at 1:57 mark.

Anyone who has any lingering doubts about how Dame and Giannis would work must have them cleared by now.

The Greek Freak advises against getting comfortable
The Bucks’ win came after a difficult loss to the Chicago Bulls in a 120-113 overtime loss on Friday. Though Giannis is quite happy with how the team is working, he does not let it be a reason for slacking. Standing in joint second place in the Eastern Conference, Antetokounmpo points out the importance of staying locked in.

They are going to keep coming for us. We just got to keep moving forward

Having Suffered Terrorizing Groin Injury, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 6’6 Bucks Teammate Reveals Much-Awaited NBA Update

Following a win over the Washington Wizards on 25th November, the 2x MVP had penned a reminder on X (formerly Twitter). “They are going to keep coming for us. We just got to keep moving forward,” he said.

The Wizards game was a special win. Lopez, Giannis, and Lillard made franchise history with three players scoring 30-plus points in a game. Brook Lopez led with 39 points, with Antetokounmpo and Dame with 31 points each. With top stars like these in one’s team, it’s easy for the rest of the teammates to get comfortable.

Something that we keep seeing with Lakers and Warriors. Instead of relying too much on the lead players, when the entire team takes responsibility and plays off each other’s strengths, the result is a team like the Milwaukee Bucks.
