NBA – The best of world basketball with the 2023-24 regular season: a unique show that every night offers records, highlights, spectacular plays, statistics, rumors and curiosities, on and off the court. Here are the 5 most tantalizing and peculiar moments of the night in American basketball.
Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks
The curtain rises on the 2023-24 NBA regular season, a marathon of 82 games that will lead to the playoffs and the Finals, the final act with the presentation of the Larry O’Brien Trophy. We start again with the reigning champion Denver Nuggets, but many are ready to dethrone them: from the Bucks of Giannis and Lillard to the Lakers of James and Davis, passing through the Celtics, the Suns of Durant, Booker and Beal, and the Warriors who have added Chris Paul.
Without forgetting an eye for the other Italians Danilo Gallinari, expected to have an important year after his long injury, and Simone Fontecchio, who will elbow the Utah Jazz to earn a new contract. A unique show that every night offers records, highlights, spectacular plays, statistics, rumors and curiosities, inside and outside the parquet.
So here are summarized the 5 most tantalizing and particular moments of the night in American basketball.
To stop the Lakers’ negative streak, a great performance from the King was needed and LeBron James responded against the Thunder in Oklahoma City. A few days shy of turning 39, James finished with 40 points (season high), 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks and 5 of 5 from three, and became the oldest in NBA history with a game of over 40 and 100% from the arch.
He also places 6th All-Time in the oldest players to score a forty: ahead of him are Jamal Crawford, Karl Malone and the unreachable Michael Jordan, with the first three performances, the first with 43 points at 40 years old and 4 days in February 2003.

JAYSON TATUM AND DOMANTAS SABONIS POSTERS
Two devastating dunks, difficult to choose the best one! The first bears the signature of Jayson Tatum who eats the baseline and then nails poor Theis in the head in the Celtics’ success in Los Angeles against the Clippers, the second is from Domantas Sabonis who nails over Rudy Gobert in an all-European duel. In the end, however, the Lithuanian’s Kings had to surrender to the French’s very fast Timberwolves.

DONCIC WINS THE BET, THEN IT’S SHOW IN THE MATCH
Senseless Luka Doncic who is a show before and during the match. In the easy victory over Spurs without Wembanyama, the Slovenian scored from behind from midfield in the warm-up, won the bet with his teammates and forced them to bend over. Then in the match he presses the triple double in just three quarters – 39 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, the 36th of at least 30 points, 4th ever – and embellishes everything with an assist without looking for Derrick Jones’ triple. Always Luka Magic.

JA MORANT IS BACK: 3-0 GRIZZLIES
Third game with Ja Morant and third victory in a row for the Memphis Grizzlies who beat Atlanta. Desmond Bane is on fire with 37 points and 6 assists, Morant is driving with 30, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and an alley-oop dunk which is the best of the game. With Ja it’s a completely different story at the Grizzlies.

ALPEREN SENGUN’S CAREER HIGHEST. VITTORIA ROCKETS
Night to remember for Alperen Sengun in the Rockets’ success in New Orleans against the Pelicans. The young Turkish center from Houston scored 25 points in the second half and finished with 31, his career high, with 11 rebounds and 6 assists. “Baby Jokic” can dream of the All Star Game.
