To say that 2023 was a major year for Sophie Turner would be putting it lightly. Every detail about her separation and divorce from Joe Jonas made headlines and subsequently, she managed to get even more attention as she was seen post-breakup hanging out with her gang and, more specifically, BFF Taylor Swift. She rounded it all up with a sentimental and reflective post on Instagram to ring in 2024, and in the process, she shared a never-before-seen snap of Swift.

In a group shot from the Oct. 1, 2023, Kansas City Chiefs game at Metlife Stadium, Turner posed with Swift and Sabrina Carpenter. Swift had her signature red lipstick and Carpenter posed with her cheek on the top of the superstar singer’s blonde head. As last year wound down, Turner was seen with Brittany Mahomes, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevigne, Selena Gomez, and Blake Lively as they celebrated Swift’s birthday in New York City.
“2023 was the year of the girlies,” she wrote alongside the carousel. “2024s forecast is looking fairly consistent.”

Turner is also in the midst of what could be a new relationship. She was seen kissing British aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson across the pond. In photographs initially posted by The Sun, the two appeared to be engaged in some not-so-subtle PDA in Paris. Yahoo reports that Pearson is the heir of the 4th Viscount Cowdray. Additionally, his family is reportedly worth £224 million thanks to the aptly named “Pearson media empire” and having part-ownership of the Cowdray Park Polo Club. Previously, he was linked with Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, King Charles’s goddaughter.
“They arrived together at the chauffeur pick-up location outside of the station. It looked like they might have both come on the Eurostar from London,” a source told The Sun in November 2023. “They stood there for a few minutes and were chatting and laughing a lot. He then took his hat off and leaned in to give her a big kiss. After the kiss, they parted ways.”
