Ja Morant Seen Hanging Out With Angel Reese After Recent Controversies For Both Players

Ja Morant and Angel Reese have been two of basketball media’s biggest talking points in the last month, with both players being shamed by critics and fans for their actions.

Morant faced justifiable criticism for flashing a gun on IG Live while Reese was vilified for trash-talking Caitlyn Clark during the NCAAW tournament final. Both the controversial stars met up and seemed to enjoy each other’s company.

Morant can be seen doing the griddy while yelling, ‘It’s a parade outside my city.’ Morant and the Grizzlies are in New Orleans to play the Pelicans, so it seems Morant went down to Louisville to the LSU facility and meet up with Reese ahead of the LSU Tigers parade to celebrate their title win. The Tigers have also been invited to the White House, though Reese and First Lady Jill Biden are currently at odds.

A Parade Inside Memphis?

The Grizzlies may be a young team, but they’re looking to become NBA Champions sooner rather than later and start a dynasty. They are the second seed in the West for a second consecutive season and now have 2 seasons’ worth of playoff experience to make a push this season. As the second seed, the Conference Finals should be the minimum expectation.

Memphis has a very well-rounded roster. They have hard-nosed big men in Steven Adams and Xavier Tillman, but sweet-shooting movement bigs like Santi Aldama as well. They have an explosive starting guard in Morant but have the more measured Tyus Jones as his backup. They have one of the best shooters in the league with Desmond Bane while also having a DPOY front-runner in Jaren Jackson Jr.

This team is nice, and will hope to finally start getting the contending love they deserve. That’s dependent on how deep of a run they make this season.
