Warriors Reveal Results of Steph Curry’s MRI on Knee Injury

The Golden State Warriors have given a Steph Curry injury update

In an official announcement on Wednesday, the Golden State Warrior revealed the results of Steph Curry’s MRI, and it looks like good news:

“Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who did not play in last night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a sore right knee, underwent an MRI yesterday afternoon to determine the extent of the injury,” the Warriors wrote. “The MRI did not reveal any structural damage. Curry sustained the injury during Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves when he fell on his right knee. He will not play in Thursday’s game against Oklahoma City (sore right knee) and will be re-evaluated at some point later this week.”

Avoiding any structural damage to his knee, Curry will be reevaluated some time later this week, which means he will likely miss at least a couple more games, but may not miss much time beyond that. All things considered, this is a very positive update for Curry and the Warriors, as it doesn’t seem like the star point guard will be forced to miss extended time.

Curry has had some extended injury absences over the last few seasons, and the Warriors certainly cannot afford to lose him for very long this year. Without much help outside of Curry, the Warriors need their star point guard available. The good news is that it seems Curry will not miss too much time.
