Last night, Latvian basketball player Kristaps Porziņgis could have made another winning shot, but this time one of the long-time leaders of the Boston “Celtics” Jaylens Braun chose to take the initiative.

“Celtics” unexpectedly recognized the superiority of Charlotte “Hornets” basketball players in overtime with 118:121.

At the end of regulation time, or less than half a minute before its end, Celtics had an attack with a tied score, and team leader Tatum, after two defenders of the opponents tightened on him, gave the ball to Brown on the long-throw line.

The NBA’s highest paid player of the moment made a long shot with 11 seconds left in the offensive clock.

Instead of a difficult long shot, Brown could calmly pass the ball into the penalty area, where Porzingis was completely free.

When Tatum still had the ball, Lamelo Ball covered Porzingis a little more, but after the ball got to Brown, Ball rushed to Peyton Pritchard standing in the corner.

For a moment, Brandon Miller approached Porzingis, however, in the case of a pass, he probably would not have had time to interfere with the Latvian’s shot in the penalty area.

The commentators of the match were also surprised by Brown’s decision:

“Terrible shot by Brown.”

In Monday’s match against the Grizzlies, Porzingis already got to the winning basket, hitting the ball in the basket after Tatum’s pass a minute before the end of regular time.
