It’s only been a few games, but San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama looks like he’s ready to take over the NBA. In the five games the Spurs have played, he’s led them to a 3-2 record, and his play on both ends of the court has surpassed the sky-high expectations set for him.

Wembanyama put up 38 points and 10 rebounds in the Spurs’ latest win over the Phoenix Suns. They suffered a huge loss to the LA Clippers earlier in the year, but the talent has been there regardless. During the preseason, the Spurs took on the young and hungry Oklahoma City Thunder, which was a showcase of elite young talent.

During a recent appearance on “The Old Man & The Three With JJ Redick and Tommy Alter,” Thunder youngster Jalen Williams spoke about what it’s like to go up against Wembanyama.
