Travis Kelce’s NFL season is not over yet, but his personal trainer is already looking ahead to the offseason.

Andrew Spruill, a Boca Raton, Florida, personal trainer who owns the company Game Speed Trainer, told Florida outlet The Palm Beach Post Thursday that Kelce, 34, has rented a home in the area for two months to work with him for seven of the last 11 NFL offseasons — and he expects Kelce to return once more this winter.

“According to him, he’s coming back,’’ Spruill said of Kelce, who has started for the Kansas City Chiefs in all 14 of the team’s games so far this season. “I went up for two games to go see him. I trust he’ll be back, especially if he wants to keep playing at the age he is. He needs to get in the gym and make sure he’s ready.’’

Kelce’s highly successful NFL career took a zag this season when he began a high-profile romance with Taylor Swift. Should Swift, 34, choose to join Kelce in Boca Raton during any breaks in the upcoming international leg of her Eras Tour, Spruill told the outlet he may have something to offer the pop star after Kelce introduced the pair recently.

“I’ll see her next month,’’ Spruill said of the “Style” singer. “I met her twice. Maybe I can talk to her about her workout routine and see if she needs help. I read where she talked about it, the different things she does to work out. She has a workout routine where she runs on a treadmill and sprints while trying to sing her songs.’’

Spruill’s comments come as Kelce and the Chiefs prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday; the defending Super Bowl champions are still attempting to clinch a position in the NFL playoffs.

The trainer, whose company’s website identifies him as an Air Force veteran who has worked with hundreds of professional athletes in his career, told the Post that he believes Kelce’s injuries have played a role in dampening his personal on-field success this year.

“He started off hurt and missed game one. Two days before the game, he hyperextended his knee at practice. He started off already on an injured note to where he’s never dealt with,” Spruill said. “He’s been as healthy as you can be for an NFL player for his career. Rookie year he missed but hadn’t missed a game until this year.”

Kelce has won two Super Bowls and been named to eight All-Pro teams in his 11-season NFL career. While he does not yet appear ready to retire, he told WSJ. Magazine in the cover of its December/January issue that he privately ponders it “more than anyone could ever imagine.”

“That’s the only thing I’ve never really been open about … the discomfort. The pain. The lingering injuries — the 10 surgeries I’ve had,” Kelce said of injuries sustained over his career, adding that he still feels “every single surgery to this day.”
