Travis Kelce is cutting ties to ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the Kansas City Chiefs star unfollowed the influencer on Twitter shortly after she voiced interest in Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who plays on the same team as Kelce’s older brother, Jason.
On Monday, Nicole retweeted a video of the hunky quarterback sitting courtside at the Philadelphia 76ers vs. Los Angeles Lakers game.
“fly eagles fly” Nicole captioned the tweet, adding in another tweet, “Y’all have eyes too. 😂”
The public flirtation drew a mixed reaction from many fans, with some upset over the model lusting over a taken man while others stated she was simply pointing out the obvious.
The comments also seemingly hit a nerve with Travis.
The tight end, 34, and Nicole, 32, dated on and off for five years before calling it quits for good in May 2022.
Although they never divulged the reason for their split, the sports broadcaster noticeably unfollowed Travis — as well as the Mahomes family — amid his budding romance with Taylor Swift, 33.
However, she and Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, both still follow each other on Instagram.
Although Nicole has not directly addressed Travis’ new romance, she has accredited “therapy” to helping her heal after going through a “major breakup.”
While Nicole seems to be enjoying the single life, Travis’ relationship with the 12-time Grammy winner has reportedly become pretty serious.
An insider close to the NFL star recently told People that “Travis’ friends think this is the real deal for him.”
“They’re still a little shocked by all of it — that he’s dating the Taylor Swift, but they’ve seen how down to earth she is with his friends and family.”
They noted that the pair both have a deep sense of respect for one another and that Travis “acknowledges” how important her career is to her, and vice versa.
Despite being a little shocked by his new level of fame, the “Catching Kelce” star has since learned not to let “the hoopla impact how they’re growing together.”
Although the lovebirds have been dealing with conflicting schedules for the past few months, they are reportedly planning to hunker down together for the next few months while the “All Too Well” singer has a break from her international Eras Tour.
Taylor — or “Tay” for short, according to Travis — flew directly to Kansas City following her final show in Brazil over the weekend and apparently has no plans on leaving anytime soon.
“Taylor’s still smitten with Travis,” an insider further told the outlet Tuesday. “But she realizes that the hard work in their relationship is about to start as they will be spending weeks at a time together.
Despite the fact that Travis is still in the middle of his NFL season, the singer is taking a break from touring until February, giving the pair plenty of “time and opportunity” to spend some “real quality time together.”
“Now Taylor and Travis can try to be as normal as their lives allow them to be.”
