Indefinitely suspended by the NBA on Wednesday for violent conduct during the game against the Phoenix Suns’ Jusuf Nurkic, Draymond Green‘s recent suspension has brought NBA former player Kevin Garnett into the conversation.

Garnett shared his perspective on how the situation has been handled so far.

Considered one of the greatest power forwards of all time, Kevin Garnett shared his insights in a recent interview on KG Certified on Showtime Basketball.

He discussed how the Golden State Warriors handled Draymond Green’s antics in the past and the repercussions it has caused for the team.

Garnett had this to say in the episode:

I actually think the organization is afraid to go talk to him and be real. They afraid of this man or it’s a level of respect to where they like we don’t really want to f*** with that.
While Draymond Green has played a significant role in shaping the Warriors with his strong defensive skills and on-court leadership, the team must engage in a conversation with their defensive star.

This discussion aims to address and resolve his on-court disciplinary issues.

Former Warriors’ star and current Phoenix Suns player, Kevin Durant has offered his support. They were teammates between 2016 and 2019.

I hope Draymond gets the help he needs. It’s been incident after incident. Hopefully, he gets the help he needs to get back on the court and put all this stuff behind him.

Green has had six career suspensions and had one in November 2018 with Kevin Durant when they were both teammates. Green has been ejected three times this season.
