The 34-year-old hitmaker appeared to have decided to skip the event — despite having scored the cover of the magazine’s Person of the Year issue — to celebrate her birthday a day early with her pals.

She effortlessly blended casual and chic styles with a striking leather trench coat as the trio visited the swanky members-only club Zero Bond.

Taylor had arrived in the Big Apple — where she keeps a penthouse — earlier in the day after departing Kanas City, Missouri.

The trio were spotted stepping out of a black luxury SUV as they walked up to the club.

The voluminous coat featured epaulettes and fit loosely over her svelte frame.

She wore the belt twist tied, but also buttoned up to stay extra toasty on the chilly evening.

Her look underneath was mostly covered up, but Taylor appeared to be wearing some kind of black ensemble, as its high neckline peaked out from her coat.

Although Miles bests Taylor’s 5ft11in height with his 6ft1 stature, she still seemed to tower over him thanks to her chunky black platform boots, which were decorated with thick gold Cuban links.
