“Take My Knee”: Dub Nation Can’t Handle Secrecy Around Stephen Curry’s Injury After Steve Kerr’s Update

The problems mount for the Golden State Warriors ahead of the Tuesday night class against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The management ruled out superstar Stephen Curry from the Tuesday night line-up, owing to a knee injury. Importantly, the front office is yet to make the crucial information, the severity of Steph’s injury, and the superstar’s expected return date. In return, fans go haywire on social media.

The prolonged absence of the Baby-faced Assassin could be costly for the Dubs. He entirely shouldered the offense of the team, averaging 30.7 points. Moreover, he is one of the two players, who has scored above 20 points for the Dubs in this season. So, the Bay Area team might walk into trouble if Curry misses out for long.

Stephen Curry – Injury update

Stephen Curry has been a lone warrior for the Dubs this season. The franchise’s next-best offense players, Klay Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins, are yet to fire this season, as they average only 16.1 and 10.5 points respectively. Compared to Stephen Curry’s average, the difference would make quite a challenge for the Dubs in his absence.

During the Warriors’ last outing, Steph had a hard fall to his knee on the second of the game. The superstar was seen rubbing his knee several times during the play. Hours after the game, the team announced Steph’s potential unavailability for the next game and later ruled him out, reported Sporting News.

However, the severity of the injury is yet to be revealed. Ahead of the Tuesday night game, coach Steve Kerr made a crucial statement.

The Athletic reporter Anthony Slater recently tweeted coach Steve Kerr’s statement on Steph’s injury. He wrote, “Steph Curry got an MRI today on his right knee. Team awaiting results, per Steve Kerr.” In response to that, one user emotionally said, “Take my knee goat ion need it,” in the comments.

Here are some reactions from the fans.

With Curry’s absence on the court, who will replace him as the point guard?

Let’s find out the starting line-up for the Tuesday night game against the Wolves.

Warriors starting line-up against the Wolves

The obvious choice, Chris Paul, who was considered the leader of the 2nd unit, replaced Steph. Other players in the starting line-up are Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Dario Saric, and Andrew Wiggings. Unfortunately, Green and Thompson didn’t stay on the court for longer, as they were ejected, barely 2 minutes into the game.

China Klay and Green engaged in a nasty altercation with the Wolves players and the refs ejected both the stars along with Jaden McDaniels

Will Steph’s absence affect the Dubs in their playoff contention? Let us know in the comments below.
