After Anthony Davis was declared out of the seventh game of the season, Lakers fans respond.

The Lakers were hoping Anthony Davis would be ready for tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets after he only played 24 minutes in Monday’s loss to Miami. Unfortunately for the Purple and Gold, though, Davis’ left adductor spasms have forced him to miss the game. Christian Wood, a big man and sharpshooter, will start in his place.

Although Davis’ injury appears to have occurred against the Heat, it is yet unknown when he will make a comeback. However, there is some positive news for the Lake Show. The famous big man remarked a few hours ago that he was feeling well and that things were starting to get better. Even if he’s obviously not good enough to play tonight, the fact that he’s headed in the correct direction is reassuring.

“I have improved. Better than the last time it occurred. Having further therapy this afternoon, following which we’ll decide. However, I do feel better.Lakers Supporters Are Already Sick of Davis

Although Anthony Davis is unable to control his injuries, it is understandable that Lakers Nation is currently angry. Due to a number of injuries that have ruined his career in Los Angeles, Davis has been in and out of the lineup for years after winning the championship in 2020. Upon learning that Davis will lose time due to his first injury of the season, supporters were quick to share their emotions on social media.Prior to the season, Davis set out to try to play in every one of the 82 games scheduled for the Lakers. Davis’s situation was always improbable, but it’s really strange that he couldn’t play through seven games.Every time with Davis, it’s something new. With a history of back, shoulder, arm, and leg ailments, Davis’s health has always been on an endless roller coaster, and every season he plays adds even more wear and tear to his already delicate body.

The good news is that Davis’ injury is not too serious, and he should return in the upcoming games. Given his history of injuries, the Lakers would be wise to proceed cautiously with Davis at this time. If they hope to make any sort of deep run in the playoffs, Davis’ health must be restored.

A Tough Beginning for the Lakers

This isn’t exactly what Lakers fans had in mind when they anticipated the NBA season, as they are 3-4 after the first two weeks. The Lakers wanted to avoid the drama by getting out to a quick start and obtaining a top four seed, having battled and scrapped their way to the play-in round last year. Naturally, thus far, that hasn’t been the case, and the supporting cast’s difficulties in getting things going have caused some early growing pains for this bunch.

LeBron James, who is 38 years old, is essentially playing with a lot of energy in these early games and is playing an alarmingly high number of minutes. Now that Davis has also missed time, the outlook is not promising for a successful season from beginning to end. However, the Lakers could be in position for enormous success in April, May, and June if they can maintain their current form and win enough games to remain above the play-in line.
