Norman Lear, a television legend, recently passed away at the age of 101. He remained active in creating television shows until the end. Despite his recent demise on December 5, Lear was involved in ongoing work on his TV projects.

Steph took to his Instagram to post a story about Lear. The caption of the post stated, “We are saddened about the death of Norman Lear. His groundbreaking hits like All In The Family and Good Times changed television forever by understanding the power of storytelling. Rest in peace.” Curry pays tribute to the endearing legacy of the media giant while realizing the importance of his work. The Chef’s production company is also gearing up to make an animated remake of Lear’s show Good Times with Netflix. Meanwhile, Steph’s decision to honor the show’s good times is a nod to the history of television itself.

Steph’s association with the legacy of Norman Lear

Within a year, Good Times will mark its 50th anniversary. Fans of the original show can anticipate a modern and animated adaptation of the classic sitcom, thanks to Netflix. The streaming platform is set to give it a soft reboot with the involvement of Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and NBA star Stephen Curry as producers.
