Stephen Curry stands out in basketball history, excelling in a sport dominated by towering figures.

As the Golden State Warriors point guard, his remarkable three-point shooting skills and game-changing ability elevate him to the status of a ‘superstar’ athlete.

However, a persistent misconception surrounds him—the idea of his height.

Despite standing at 6 feet 3 inches tall, the sharpshooter frequently faces opponents who surpass him in height.

More recently, Steph talked about the challenges he faced growing up, especially being the son of an NBA player.

Stephen Curry and his challenges growing up

Steph was the guest in the Latest episode of the Smartless. The trifecta of comedy actors Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett host the podcast.

While they covered a range of topics, including the former MVP’s docu-series “Underrated,” his recollection of his childhood struggles really puts his achievements in perspective.

He further added, “Without really thinking about what the results were like.

Obviously, I knew what the NBA was, I knew what Division One basketball was, I knew that that was a good way to try to get a scholarship to a good school.

But everything that they taught me and the coaches that I had kept me really in the moment, which is something I try to teach kids now.”

The enduring legacy of the “Small” players in the NBA is monumental.

His impact is right up there with figures like Allen Iverson. His complete dominance of the game gives kids around the globe hope.

Despite it being his 15th year in the league, the four-time champion isn’t slowing down averaging 30.4 points a game.

Recently, his heroics spared the Dubs from their 7th consecutive loss. With that in consideration, can Curry bring them the 5th ring?

Warrior’s Chances for a 5th ring

Currently positioned as the fifth favorite to secure a championship, the Golden State Warriors remain strong contenders in the competition.

A couple of months ago, they were considered the frontrunners, but recent changes across all teams have introduced formidable opponents, making their journey more challenging.

Moreover, the team still boasts the presence of the Splash Brothers, Green, and Wiggins.

Although we’ve witnessed only glimpses of their potential brilliance so far, it’s not too late to acknowledge their contributions.

If the team can find its rhythm, we might witness the Dub Nation ascending to its full potential, possibly even surpassing others in the league.
