NBA – Wembanyama is angry after Spurs’ hiccup:
Sad news.. this person will be fired!

Gregg Popovich et Victor Wembanyama en interview pour les Spurs

If Victor Wembanyama is obviously disappointed with Spurs’ defeat this Friday evening, the Frenchman was also annoyed following a big mistake by his own team… on his last name.

Victor’s jersey was not good and he did not hide his disappointment.

The Spurs’ series of defeats continues this Friday evening, with a new disappointment 112-118 against the Warriors. The disappointment is real for Gregg Popovich’s men, and mainly Victor Wembanyama.

The latter has been gaining strength in recent matches with better shots, but it is impossible to taste victory for all that. His 22 points and 9 rebounds were unfortunately not enough.

Spurs’ mistake on Wembanyama

To top it off, the Frenchman had another reason to be unhappy and it was a Spurs dump.

Without the person initially realizing it, his jersey contained an error in his last name. It read “Wembanyana”. He was able to return from the locker room with another jersey, even if the sequence amused some people.

Wembanyama’s name was misspelled on his jersey. He has changed for the good.

So who lost their job?

Is anyone going to lose their job? Possible, especially since Wembanyama didn’t really appreciate his response.

“I don’t know if anyone’s going to get fired, but Spurs did check my name. I don’t know. It’s really regrettable.”

Note that “regrettable” could also be replaced by “a shame” here, proof that Wemby did not appreciate this error, especially since Spurs are supposed to check all this.

If Wemby is calling for someone to be fired – and it sounds like he is – then someone should be fired.

This spelling error is the sign of an amateur organization.

Victor Wembanyama did not appreciate the error on his jersey, and it is completely understandable on his part.

We imagine that someone has already apologized for this mistake, hoping that it will not happen again.
