Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have been the leaders of the Golden State Warriors project since the first title they won in 2015 against the Cleveland Cavaliers and, since then, they have had dominant seasons and others that have not been so good.

Win or win

The Golden State star point guard commented that they have extra pressure, due to the success they have had since 2015, and that is why they are accustomed to the press talking about whether the team’s management should break the core, made up of Curry, Thompson and Green.

“It’s been like this for years… They always find something to criticize and that’s because there is an expectation for us to win,” “Steph” said of the constant comments to the Golden State trident.

In addition, he highlighted that in 2022 they were crowned champions and many did not have them as favorites to win the title against the Boston Celtics.

In this 2023-24 campaign, the Warriors have had problems leaving behind their excessive dependence on Curry to add victories and the key is for the team, not just Thompson and Green, to raise their level of play to improve their contribution on the court.

Currently, Golden State occupies 11th position in the Western Conference with 13 wins and 14 losses, with a streak of three wins that could be extended this Friday when they face the Washington Wizards.
