Unavailable for the recent Blazers reception, LeBron James was still at the Crypto.com Arena to support the Lakers. He also came across a certain Charles Leclerc, who expressed his embarrassment when meeting him backstage.

Despite much more playing time than his coaches had planned, he had so far managed to hold his place. LeBron James had in fact not missed a Lakers meeting since the start of the season… until Sunday and the Blazers reception. This did not prevent his teammates from winning in front of his eyes (116-110), but also those of other sports stars.

Ferrari F1 Star Charles Leclerc Caught In An Awkward Moment With LeBron James: "Didn't Know I Would Meet You..."

Charles Leclerc’s viral embarrassment in front of LeBron James

As in every match played at the Crypto.com Arena, there were numerous celebrities filling the stands. Among them, Esteban Ocon and Charles Leclerc, present in the United States as part of the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix. The two French-speaking Formula 1 drivers were lucky enough to be able to spend a short moment with LeBron in the corridors of the room and pose alongside him:

All smiles in this photo, LBJ can be seen holding a helmet from the Alpine team, in which Ocon has been playing since 2020. A gift offered by the Frenchman to the King, who took the opportunity to announce that he will go to Vegas to attend the GP this weekend. On the other hand, he did not receive any helmet or other Ferrari object from Leclerc, who felt obliged to shamefully justify himself to him:

Charles Leclerc: I didn’t know I was going to meet you, otherwise I would have brought one too!

The Monegasque can rest assured, this oddity did not seem to upset LeBron, who on the contrary laughed after this explanation. However, it’s a safe bet that he will try to make up for it in a few days by offering him a present in the colors of the Scuderia!

When going to the Crypto.com Arena to attend a Lakers game, Charles Leclerc did not think that he would have the honor of meeting LeBron James there. It was therefore with embarrassment that he justified himself to the King, visibly not angry.
