NBA DANGER SIGNAL: WHY STEPHEN CURRY DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT PAST WARRIORS

NBA: WHY STEPHEN CURRY NO LONGER WANTS TO TALK ABOUT THE WARRIORS PAST

The Golden State Warriors haven’t won a single NBA game, folks.

It may be difficult to remember when Stephen Curry’s team went on a losing streak last year and, despite going 6-5 this season, Stephen Curry doesn’t want to know much about it.

Curry was asked how satisfied he was with the Warriors’ season so far and what he expects about the next few weeks. Steph replied:

If you look at the schedule when it was released, how many away games did we have…eight games in eight different gyms in a short period of time?

Let’s accept the campaign we have. Considering how we played… No… I’m not going to keep talking about the past. Let’s stop with it.

In case you forgot, the Warriors struggled on the road last season. However, if Curry’s discussion of the issue is any indication, then the Warriors are not interested in repeating last season’s struggles.

The journalist urged him to finish his thought. However, Curry insisted: “I’m closing this matter. Knowing that we expect to win games on the road and be a good team on the road.”

THE WARRIORS HAVE A 5-2 CAMPAIGN OUTSIDE SAN FRANCISCO

So far, this is true. The Dubs are currently 5-2 on the road this season. However, the same could not have been said about the Warriors last season.

When you compare the Warriors’ campaign after nine games to last year, there is a big difference.

Remember, the Warriors started last season 0-8 on the road.

Ultimately, the Warriors finished the season 11–30, which was the second-worst road record in the league, as San Antonio, Detroit, and Houston were all tied with eight road wins each.

With five away wins already achieved, the Warriors are off to a good start.

That said, it makes sense why Curry is reluctant to look in the rearview mirror.

Curry isn’t worried about the past. Instead, he’s focused on the future and the Dubs’ current season.
