Because Embiid had already declared in the past that there was no rivalry between Boston and Philadelphia because the latter “got their butts kicked” every time. Was Joel Embiid traumatized by the Celtics? In any case, that’s the impression the reigning MVP gives when he talks about Jayson Tatum and others.
