Today, listing the qualities of LeBron James would take far too much time. We could talk about his physique, his offensive qualities or many other things, but all of this is articulated by one and only thing: mentality. The King always approached problems from the right side, which allowed him to reach the highest heights.

Mentality obviously encompasses many aspects. We could particularly talk about work ethic, and at this level, Bron grew up in a good school since he studied with Kobe Bryant. Beyond this relentlessness in the gym or training, it is above all the love he has for the game that has allowed him to go far. Individual statistics have never been his priority.

Obviously, calling on LeBron James when it comes to putting the ball in the basket is often a good idea. On the other hand, the King never adopted a selfish strategy and even always knew how to make his teammates shine. He has had this mentality since he was a kid, since at 17, during the All-American Game, he was already talking about the importance of this altruism:

When your teammates are involved, everyone has a little more fun. If the best player on the team can give the impression that he is going to give the ball back to his partners, then everyone will have fun. I try not to be selfish. We’re just trying to play a team game.

That evening, he showed everyone that he was an exceptional player on an individual level, but above all capable of evolving for the collective.

Witnessing such a speech from a 17-year-old kid had put many people’s minds back in place. Such maturity has rarely been seen in adolescence and this only bodes well for the future. At the end of this meeting, LeBron displayed LeBron-like statistics with his 27 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and showed everyone that he was capable of doing anything:
