After two victories over the Suns, the Spurs failed to confirm this Sunday evening when crossing paths with the Raptors. Gregg Popovich’s men had to lose with a score of 123-116 after overtime, despite having a lead of 22 points. The Texans broke down after returning from the locker room against Scottie Barnes (30 points) in great form.

We don’t know if giving Wemby the ball more often would have changed the outcome of this game, but it’s a possibility. It’s clear that Gregg Popovich’s men have to work hard, especially when they have talent like Victor. This isn’t the first time this has happened…and certainly not the last.
The Spurs again had difficulty finding Victor Wembanyama in the final moments of this game, and the result was immediately felt. We expect improvements in the coming weeks, especially when the Frenchman dominates like this.
