The Warriors still beaten this Thursday evening, Steph Curry was not necessarily very happy with the result. Especially without Draymond Green by his side. At a press conference, the leader took the opportunity to send a new message.

While the Warriors have already been in difficulty for a few weeks, the franchise will have to find the resources to start winning, all without Draymond Green.

The latter has been suspended until further notice, while waiting for the interior to decide to find help. The league is keen for Green to change his behavior, as are the Dubs. Steve Kerr was very critical of his star in particular.

NBA News: Draymond Green and Stephen Curry don't even hang out together anymore

Same story for Steph Curry, who recognizes that Green is doing a bit of anything at the moment.

This is why it was important for the NBA to get involved, given that the Warriors never wanted to force their player to change.

In front of the media after the defeat against the Clippers on Thursday, Curry added a layer on Draymond’s behavior.

Steph Curry on Draymond Green:

“I’m confident in his ability to sort this out. The conversation yesterday was to say that he can’t do what he does. He knows it. We know it. Everybody knows it. He must now understand what it means to change. (…) He must take a step back. We need to make sure everyone is mentally and physically fit to perform as well as possible.

“Everyone has their own mountain to climb. I am confident that he will get there, no matter how long it takes.”

Green is largely supported by his teammates, even if Curry reminds that he cannot act like this on a basketball floor.

The Warriors are still paying the price today, since their star will be absent for a while. The time it will take, as Steph rightly reminds us. Let’s just hope Draymond comes back with a different demeanor.

Draymond Green once again let his team down with this gesture on Jusuf Nurkic, to the point where the Warriors and the NBA agree: the player must adapt his behavior. Bad news for Steph Curry and his teammates, who will try to do the best they can during this absence.
