NBA – After a mixed start, Giannis honest on Damian Lillard: “He needs…

Les superstars NBA des Milwaukee Bucks, Damian Lillard (gauche) et Giannis Antetokounmpo (droite)

Due to a few injuries and sometimes surprising results, the Giannis Antetokounmpo-Damian Lillard duo still needs many adjustments.

This remains promising for the future, as the Greek Freak confirms to journalists.

Like their record of 9 wins and 4 losses, the Bucks have been doing better in recent games.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s gang has had one success after another, which was not necessarily the case in the first weeks of competition.

The fault in particular is injuries.

Damian Lillard is now there, for a positive result… even if the flagship duo still has to adapt.

Giannis cashes in on his relationship with Damian Lillard

It’s never easy to play with another such imposing person in the game, especially if you add Khris Middleton, a relatively important player for the Bucks.

In front of the media after the success over the Mavericks, Giannis remains confident about his partnership with Dame Dolla.

He recognizes, however, that it will probably take many more weeks for it to work perfectly.

Giannis Antetokounmpo on Damian Lillard:

“Sometimes he will ask to manage the attack and you have to give him the ball… Match after match, we will learn to play with each other.”

The process is necessarily complicated for Giannis and Dame, who know that it will take time to make the most of this duo.

But the protagonists are motivated and determined to win a title together.

And that’s the most important thing.

It will come with time

Still getting used to the start of the season, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo know that the best is yet to come for the Bucks.

At least once they find their bearings. The competition is warned.
