LeBron James Tries His Luck With Second Born After Watching Bronny’s USC Game Ends in Dismay

LeBron James may not have had the best of experiences watching Bronny James make his college debut live. The 18-year-old’s debut game for the USC Trojans after suffering a shocking cardiac arrest may not have ended the way the James Gang would have wanted. However, destiny has offered The King a chance at redemption.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward has strived tirelessly to bring both his sons, Bronny and Bryce, into competitive basketball. The Kid From Akron may have had a disheartening experience witnessing James Jr.’s debut. However, Bryce James has taken it upon himself to redeem his elder brother, and his father did not pass on the opportunity to witness it.

LeBron James pounces at a chance at redemption

Bryce James is set to play his father’s invitational tournament, The Chosen-1’s Invitational, representing his high school, Sierra Canyon. LeBron James, naturally, came along to witness his 16-year-old son play this crucial matchup along with his daughter Zhuri. After an emotional debut of the firstborn Bronny, James will now rally behind Bryce and his high school.

In a wholesome clip of the father-son duo, James is seen dapping up his son before the 16-year-old enters the court. In the most LeBron James fashion, the proud dad has shown up for family yet again.

Bryce most certainly did not disappoint in this outing, putting up a dominant display from the very beginning. One o 16-year-old’s play has also caught social media’s attention, where he effortlessly charged down the court and scored despite a tough contest. As the 4x MVP catches Bryce in action, his elder son hits the road with his USC brothers.

Bronny James hits the road

After an underwhelming display on debut, Bronny has also hit the road to seek redemption. The USC star has now travelled to Auburn where he will face the Tigers on Sunday. This all-important clash provides a terrific opportunity for James Jr to prove his worth to the world.

Coming back to basketball after a traumatic cardiac arrest, James scored a mere 4 points. He tried to aid the team off the bench, tallying three rebounds and two assists as well. However, much to his dismay, USC dropped the game to Long Beach. The Southern California representatives lost 84-79 in a hard-fought encounter.

The Auburn game will yet again provide Bronny an opportunity to get back to the standard he set for himself. The 18-year-old’s emphatic block emulating his father in his debut matchup showed clear signs that he has not lost a step despite the cardiac arrest. However, the USC star still has a lot to prove and this road trip serves a perfect opportunity to do so.
