Jrue Holiday’s Wife Lauren Holiday and Her Battle with Brain Tumor

Jrue Holiday is on his way to play at the upcoming NBA Championship Finals along with the rest of his Milwaukee Bucks teammates. The Bucks were crowned Eastern Conference champions after beating Atlanta Falcons last week.

Jrue Holiday’s wife Lauren first revealed her terrible encounter with brain tumor in 2017. Holiday was then employed by the New Orleans Pelicans. When his wife was set to undergo surgery in early 2019, Holiday put matters into perspective and opted to sit out the start of the season in order to support his family.

“The most important thing for Jrue to do right now is to be with his wife and family. Every one of our coaches and players understands what Lauren and Jrue are going through, and they know we’re behind them 100 percent. We’ll continue to do everything we can to support them and help them get through these hard times,” Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry said back then.

However, as things stand, Lauren underwent successful surgery 2 years ago and is in great spirits right now. Holiday and his former USWNT World Cup winner wife had their second child in 2020.
