James’ Lakers are in town as they look to avoid a third consecutive loss.

Brooks and LeBron shared an ongoing beef throughout last season’s first-round NBA playoff series.

The Canadian dubbed James old and claimed he didn’t respect the four-time champion.

Dillon was ejected during Game 3 of the series after hitting LeBron in the groin.

The four-time MVP inspired the Lakers to a shock series win over the Grizzlies.

But some NBA fans have accused Brooks of “not learning his lesson” as the players set to do battle again on Wednesday night in Houston.

Asked about facing James again, Brooks told DreamShake’s Lachard Binkley: “I’m ready to lock him up.

“He’s been shooting the ball well, he’s been playing well.

“I’m just there to make him tired, make him get into that fourth quarter early.”

Fans were quick to comment on Brooks’ bold claim, with one laughing: “He’s a troll. He knows that’s what we want to hear.”

Another joked: “Man did not learn his lesson.”

A third added: “Looks like we going viral again!”

And a fourth said: “So basically he’s ready to foul out of the game guarding him. There’s no way he would be able to guard Lebron clean.”

A fifth gasped: “He didnt learn his lesson last time? He had to go to a whole new team last time he did this.”

LeBron is currently the oldest active player in the NBA.

He has shown no signs of slowing down as he approaches his 39th birthday in December.

Through the Lakers seven games so far in 2023, the Akron native has averaged 25.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists.
