Angel Reese Posts Cryptic Video Amid Absence From LSU Team

LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese is not with the team for its Thanksgiving weekend multiteam event in the Cayman Islands.

Reese, who has not played since Nov. 14, will miss her third consecutive game when the No. 7 Tigers (5–1) take on Niagara (2–2) on Friday afternoon. No reason has been given for her absence from the lineup by coach Kim Mulkey or by Reese herself.

As questions continue to swirl around the LSU star, she posted a cryptic video to TikTok on Thursday, in which she walked around in a pink robe with a voiceover of a speech by Colorado football coach Deion Sanders earlier this fall.

“Look at me,” Sanders said in the TikTok. “What about me would make you think I care about your opinion of me? Your opinion of me is not the opinion I have of myself. You ain’t make me, so you can’t break me.”

Reese was named the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player in the spring when LSU won the national title over Iowa. In four games this season for the Tigers, Reese is averaging 17.0 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 46.9% shooting from the floor.
